Deerac Fluidics Incorporates Sales and Service Subsidiary in the US

November 29, 2005 Dublin, Ireland: Deerac Fluidics announces the incorporation of Deerac Fluidics Inc. in the USA. Deerac Fluidics Inc., registered in Delaware, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Deerac Fluidics (Dublin, Ireland). The US subsidiary has been established in order to better serve Deerac’s growing demand for high-speed low volume liquid handling products in this market.

According to Dr. Jurgen Osing, CEO of Deerac Fluidics, "Establishing a US subsidiary is a very important development for us. It demonstrates Deerac’s commitment to the North American markets and enables us to provide our customers with a higher level of service and support for their liquid handling needs. We anticipate that this will drive our growth in the US and provide us with better feedback from our customers."

Deerac’s products are based on the patented spot-on™ technology, the Equator™ and Latitude™ liquid handling systems provide high speed, low microliter and sub-microliter liquid handling for genomics, proteomics, and high-throughput screening applications. In addition, because of the simple valve design, it can be used with cells and beads with lifetime in excess of hundreds of thousands of dispenses.

Deerac Fluidics, based in Dublin, Ireland, is a global leader in the development and production of reliable, robust and user friendly liquid handling solutions, enabling the dispensing of microlitre and nanolitre volumes of a wide range of fluids.
